 ] DESCRIPTION: FOR MAIN ENGINE FAILURES RECOGNIZED BETWEEN SRB        ]
 ] SEPARATION AND THE VEHICLE REACHING A VELOCITY DEFINED BY THE       ]
 ] V_SWITCH I-LOAD, THE BFS WILL COMPUTE AN INCORRECT FUEL DISSIPATION ]
 ] PITCH ATTITUDE.                                                     ]

 ] WITH THE CURRENT I-LOAD SELECTION CRITERIA, THIS PITCH ATTITUDE     ]
 ] DIFFERENCE IS ON THE ORDER OF 2 DEGREES IF THE MAIN ENGINE ACTUALLY ]
 ] FAILS IN THIS WINDOW. THE TEST CASE THAT IDENTIFIED THIS DEFICIENCY ]
 ] HAD A DATA PATH FAIL (2 FAILURES) AND A MAIN ENGINE FAILURE IN FIRST]
 ] STAGE HOWEVER THE SOFTWARE WAS NOT NOTIFIED ABOUT THIS UNTIL AFTER  ]
 ] SRB SEPARATION. THE DIFFERENCE IN PITCH ATTITUDE IN THIS CASE WAS   ]
 ] APPROXIMATELY 20 DEGREES. TEST RESULTS SHOW THAT BFS CAN BE ENGAGED ]
 ] WITH THIS CONDITION AND WILL FLY ACCEPTABLY.  THE I-LOADS WILL BE   ]
 ] MONITORED FLIGHT-BY-FLIGHT UNTIL THE BFS SOFTWARE IS CORRECTED.     ]
