 ] THE OMS ENGINE ARM/PRESS SWITCH IN OFF POSITION COMMANDS OMS CUTOFF ]
 ] (VIA PNEUMATIC CONTROL VALVES), HOWEVER, IF THE SWITCH IS MOVED     ]
 ] BACK TO THE ARM OR ARM/PRESS POSITION BEFORE THE OMS FDI DETECTS A  ]
 ] FAILURE, THE CUTOFF COMMAND IS REMOVED AND THE ENGINE ATTEMPTS TO   ]
 ] RETURN TO STEADY STATE THRUST CONDITIONS.  BECAUSE THE OMS FDI RE-  ]
 ] QUIRES 4 CYCLES (OR 3.84 SECONDS) TO DETECT A FAILURE, THE SWITCH   ]
 ] CAN BE CYCLED FROM OFF TO ARM OR ARM/PRESS WITHIN THIS PERIOD WITH- ]
 ] OUT ACHIEVING CUTOFF.  THE POSSIBILITY OF ENGINE DAMAGE EXISTS DUE  ]
 ] TO THE INDUCED TRANSIENT.                                           ]
