 ]     DURING MM102, IF THE CREW TAKES MANUAL CONTROL OF THE SSME      ]
 ] THROTTLE AND THEN RETURNS THE SSME THROTTLE TO AUTO, THE            ]
 ] AUTOTHROTTLE WILL BEHAVE INCONSISTENTLY.  THE INCONSISTENT RESPONSE ]
 ] DEPENDS UPON THE MAGNITUDE OF THE RELATIVE VELOCITY (REL_VEL_MAG)   ]
 ] AS COMPARED TO STORED VELOCITY VALUES MEANT TO TRIGGER THROTTLING   ]
 ] CHANGES (COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE "THROTTLE BUCKET").  THE             ]
 ] INCONSISTENT RESPONSE IS AS FOLLOWS:                                ]
 ]                                                                     ]
 ]     SCENARIO 1.  IF THE CREW RETURNS THE SSME THROTTLE TO AUTO      ]
 ] CONTROL BEFORE THE RELATIVE VELOCITY EXCEEDS THE NEXT THROTTLE      ]
 ] BUCKET BREAK POINT THEN THE FSW WILL CONTINUE TO USE THE LAST       ]
 ] COMMANDED VALUE FROM MANUAL CONTROL UNTIL THE RELATIVE VELOCITY     ]
 ] REACHES THE NEXT THROTTLE BUCKET BREAK POINT.  IF THERE ARE NO      ]
 ] MORE THROTTLE BUCKET BREAK POINTS LEFT THEN THE FSW WILL            ]
 ] CONTINUE TO USE THE LAST COMMANDED VALUE FROM MANUAL CONTROL        ]
 ] THROUGH SRB SEP AND ON INTO MM103.                                  ]
 ]                                                                     ]
 ]     SCENARIO 2.  IF THE RELATIVE VELOCITY EXCEEDS ONLY ONE THROTTLE ]
 ] BUCKET BREAK POINT WHILE THE CREW HAS MANUAL CONTROL OF THE         ]
 ] THROTTLE THEN WHEN THROTTLE CONTROL IS RETURNED TO AUTO THE FSW     ]

 ] PERIOD, THE AUTOTHROTTLE COMMAND WILL BE  AT PROPER LEVEL.          ]
